Terms and Conditions 
Payment Method 
For your safety and convenience we currently use a 100% secure Credit and Debit card payment processor RBS Worldpay. If you would prefer you can also pay using your Credit card or Debit card by telephone. Just follow the checkout instructions and choose to pay by telephone we will then e-mail you a unique order reference number and the order telephone number that you will need to use. 
We also guarantee SecureCode payment security service making sure that your payment details are kept private and secure as added protection whilst shopping. 
You can also simply call our shop direct and place an order seven days a week on 0114 256 8882, ask to place an order quoting the product reference. Our opening times are Monday-Friday 9.30am-9.00pm Saturday 9.30am-8.00pm and Sunday 10.00am-5.00pm. 
Whilst we try our hardest to dispatch your order within a 5 day period, some orders especially those placed during busy periods might take up to 10 days, any problems with your order and we will contact you personally, all orders are delivered by national courier companies.

Collect from our shop 
If you would prefer to collect your order from our Sheffield Shop please contact us and we will advise you when your order will be ready to collect, you can find us by pressing the Contact Us tab on the home page. 
Delayed or Lost Parcels 
Whilst we have a lot of faith in the currier services that we use to deliver your goods, and in most cases deliveries are on time, occasionally the system lets us down and this can cause delays and in extreme circumstances loss of your parcel. 
Once your products have been sent, we will confirm dispatch via e-mail, most dispatch companies also have a tracking notification e-mail that will be sent to you, enabling you to track your order via their website. 
If for some reason there is no one to receive your parcel on delivery then the currier company will leave you a notice as to how you may reorganize or collect the delivery of your goods, in any event you may contact us and we will sort out any delivery problems that may have occurred. 
As a first action we always advise you to contact your local sorting office or depot to see if your parcel has been returned to them awaiting instruction. 
Please be aware that in order to process a claim for a lost parcel we need to wait 15days after the dispatch of your parcel, this unfortunately is Royal Mail procedure and although extremely frustrating there is nothing we are able to do before this period. 
Please contact us within 28 days so that we can deal with any delivery issues that may have occurred ,unfortunately a claim outside of this period will not be accepted due to the terms of the postal company. 
Orders placed for delivery to overseas customers may in some circumstances take up to 7 weeks for delivery, this can largely be due to hold up by customs, unfortunately this is out of our hands and we will not take responsibility for any delays nor the condition of the product on arrival, any additional taxes or duties must be met by the customer, it may be prudent to check with your local customs office to see if you will be charged any extra duties or taxes. 
Please be aware that Gobstoppers Tradingl Ltd will not in any circumstance be held liable for any damages. Losses or costs incurred by the customer for any failure to meet 
estimated delivery date. Nor can we be held responsible for any delays in your order being delivered by our currier company. We cannot offer a refund or compensation of delivery charges should your order not arrive on the estimated delivery day as this is totally beyond our control. This also includes problems and delays due to bad weather conditions. 
If for some reason your order cannot be delivered and is subsequently returned to us then we will refund the cost of the goods ONLY less a charge of £14.00 to cover administration and postage, this is a charge made at our own discretion. 
Should your goods be delivered damaged please do not dispose of them, take a picture and then contact us with the damaged evidence so that we may make a claim for the damages 
Upon delivery of your goods you the purchaser must inspect the goods, if for some reason there is a discrepancy as to a missing item then a claim must be submitted within 7 days of receipt of the parcel, if the parcel has been delivered and the goods are in an unusable condition for reasons other than extremes of temperatures then once again a claim must be submitted within 7 days after receipt of delivery’ 
Whilst we do take great care in packing your order so that damage will not occur such items as Crisps and Biscuits are prone to damage during transit and therefore we are unable to accept a claim for damages to these particular items. 
Remember, do not in any circumstance throw away any damaged goods as we may need to see them or have photographic proof of damage before making a claim. 
In the event that you might want to return a product, then our terms are that provided the goods are undamaged and the original packaging fully intact and in re-saleable condition and unopened we will refund the cost of the goods ONLY but will not refund any delivery costs.

Hot Weather 
Some goods are susceptible to extreme weather conditions, in most cases the goods that can be affected are chocolate based products, although we store these products ready for dispatch in a cold storeroom, once these have been dispatched we cannot take responsibility for their condition upon arrival to their destination, as we have no control over the shippers control over temperature. 
Best Before Dates 
Unlike UK based sweets where availability is immediately assured, our sweets are imported mostly from the USA and due to the import sometimes the best before dates are not as long as we wish for, we will never send out anything with a short shelf date and will always inform the purchaser should the item being ordered be short dated, these items are normally shown as short dated and discounted accordingly. 
VAT currently 20% will be shown on vat-able products when you checkout, however the VAT is built-in to the price of your item 
When you check out you will see that you will be quoted the price of the item with and without VAT as applicable. This is so purely for accounting purposes. 
You will not be charged any additional VAT on any item in your shopping basket. Any VAT figure has already been included in the price of your goods. 
Country of Origin 
Please be aware that although most of our products are stated as American, they may have another country as their country of origin.
